Do You Need Help?

We are currently, for now, only able to help with issues of a humane nature.


However, should you be approved, you can use The Roscoe Fund’s assistance at your OWN vet. All you have to do is call 907-865-6999 and leave a message there or leave a message for us through Facebook Messenger and we will get back to you ASAP.

We work around the clock to help animals in need. If approved, you will be given a voucher of Roscoe Fund money approval (like a check) to take to your veterinarian.

Edit to add: They have raised the funds needed for the initial diagnostic testing, so we're going to pause donations for now. I'll post an update as soon as we know whether additional funds will be needed for treatment. Thank you all so much for your generosity, prayers, and support.❤️ Today, our community has the opportunity to help one of our own. ❤️Many of you know Laura Kelly as the CEO and one of the driving forces behind The Roscoe Fund. Time and again, Laura has been there to help families facing unexpected veterinary emergencies, always putting others before herself.Today, however, Laura finds herself in the difficult position of needing help.Because she serves on the Board of Directors of The Roscoe Fund, she is not permitted to utilize the organization's funds for her own pet, ensuring the integrity of our mission and avoiding any conflict of interest.Laura's beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Tinder, her only pet, is currently being treated at The Pet Stop. The veterinarians believe Tinder may have a foreign body obstruction, a potentially life-threatening condition that requires prompt diagnosis and treatment. The current estimate is approximately $2,000.00 - $2500.00 (not including potential worst case scenario surgery), and due to current unforeseen life circumstances, Laura was heartbroken to decline even recommended lab work because she simply could not afford it at this time, and could not even procure Care Credit or Scratch Pay.If you are able, I ask that you please consider making a donation directly to The Pet Stop 907-522-1006, under the name Laura Kelly / Tinder.
